Those of you who are familiar with the history of King's will know that as the church has grown, we have continually created more space for more people, either by expanding our existing auditoriums, starting an additional meeting or launching a new site. Every time we have created more space, we have reached more people. We believe that by launching the fourth site we will be able to reach and serve more people in this new area as well as make room at the Catford site for continued growth. By multiplying our efforts we trust that the Kingdom of God will continue to expand in South-East London.
"Over the last few years we’ve been increasingly gathering people from the south. There are loads of people to serve and reach and we’re looking forward to playing our part in extending the kingdom in this area. Charles is a gifted leader and communicator and he and Amy are a fantastic couple."
Steve Tibbert | Senior Pastor
"We are really excited about launching this fourth site of King’s. We really believe that the good news of Jesus Christ saves people and transforms their lives both now and for eternity. Our vision is to gather a united and diverse community of people, who have a passion to go on mission, to serve and reach many people in this new area with this good news."
Charles Kimbangi | Fourth Site Leader
The new site will meet at Harris Academy Beckenham, a new school with excellent facilities such as a new, modern meeting hall (seating approximately 180 people), contemporary classrooms for children's and youth work, as well as a large car park. With the school also being in a great location, we believe that the venue will provide a brilliant base from which we can impact the community with the life-changing and life-giving message of hope through the gospel.
We are hoping for 100-140 people to join Charles and Amy in launching this site, made up of mainly people living in Beckenham, West Wickham, Croydon and the surrounding area. During the summer term, we will be running groups for anyone interested in the new site, so if you are interested in joining the new site, we would strongly encourage you to be part of one of the groups. Please get in touch for more information or if you are interested.
