Latest Family God Time details and update on Sunday

Age Groups

We have two age groups: 0-4s (pre-school) and school years Reception - Year 4 (King’s Kids). Both groups will cover the same theme each week in a way that is appropriate for their age. Our kids’ work is run each Sunday by volunteers who are all DBS checked.

We look forward to welcoming you and journeying with you and your children as we share and learn more about God together. If you have any questions about the kids’ work at King’s, please email Kerri-Jane Lamb, our Children’s Work Pastor.

We operate an electronic registration. You will need to sign in your child(ren) on arrival using the tablet and you will be given two stickers for drop-off and collection. During registration you will be asked if your child has any allergies or medical needs. If these change over time, please let us know.

Additional Needs

At King’s everyone is welcome! If your child has an additional need we will do the best we can to help them settle in our children’s work. We have an Additional Needs Policy which aims to make children and parents/carers’ experience of our children’s work the best it can be. Please get in touch if you would like a copy or to find out more.

Family God Time

Each week after the Sunday meeting, children are encouraged to share what they have learned with their parents/carers. We will give them a Family God Time bookmark on a Sunday with key things we have looked at. These are are also available below

We want to encourage you to talk with them and to build on the themes and stories of the session. There will be some simple ideas on the bookmark of things you can do together as you build your faith-filled family. We look forward to welcoming you and journeying with you and your children.

Rainbow Rhymes is our free bounce and rhyme time for babies and toddlers which is running at the Downham site, Friday mornings during term time.

Kids At Home

Since the start of the pandemic, we provided online content for children on our Kids At Home page. While we are no longer uploading new videos as we meet more in person, you can still find and enjoy all our previous videos, songs and resources there.

My one-year-old daughter was nervous at being left on her own at first, but thanks to the friendly teams that serve each week, she now loves being in Jumping Beans and especially loves the singing. Jumping Beans
I love the fact that my child comes out of King’s Kids enthusiastic and wanting to share all that he has learnt. King's Kids
