Building a diverse church
serving the communities of London
Children are very welcome at King's and are as much part of the church as the adults. As such we want them to be in a safe and enjoyable environment, where they can have fun, and learn something too!

Sundays

All of our sites have children's activities for 0-4s, 5-9s and 10-14s on Sundays during the meetings. The sessions are particularly designed for each age group and include a range of activities, from singing and games to creative work as well. We encourage children to take part in a way that suits them, and encourage them to share and play together.

It is our policy to have all our workers DBS checked and for them to undergo training. A number of our workers are themselves qualified teachers or teaching assistants.

0-4s

Babies

Babies' needs are provided for in a stimulating and engaging environment with a wide range of toys available. Parents are welcome to stay with their child or leave their baby to be looked after by the helpers whilst they enjoy the service. A feeding room is also available for mothers with babies.

Jumping Beans

Jumping Beans is our 1-2s work where we offer a fun-filled programme. The children have lots of opportunity for free play and can be creative through art and 'messy' play. During the morning we tell a Bible story in a fun and interactive way. We also introduce children to worship by encouraging them to join in with action songs, move around to the music and maybe play an instrument.

Promiseland

Promiseland is our work for our 3-4s. We provide a little more structure to the morning but there is still plenty of time to explore and play together. We have age-appropriate Bible teaching which is lively and interactive, as is our worship time. The children get to take part in fun activities based upon the theme of the morning. This often involves craft and games.

5-9s

King's Kids

King's Kids is for our 5-9 year olds. We have great fun learning about God. We have creative Bible teaching where we look at a variety of Bible stories and characters. There are exciting times of worship, we play lively games and also complete activities based on the theme of the morning. The mornings also include time together in small groups so we can chat, get to know one another and share our thoughts and ideas, followed by time together as a large group. It's great fun for all involved!

Rainbow Rhymes (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays during term-time)

We run free bounce and rhyme times for babies and toddlers aged 0-4 during term-time at all three of our sites. Free tea, coffee and cake are served afterwards. All parents/carers are welcome to come along, make friends and have fun!

My one-year-old daughter was nervous at being left on her own at first, but thanks to the friendly teams that serve each week, she now loves being in Jumping Beans and especially loves the singing. Jumping Beans
My son has great fun in Promiseland. He is so happy going in and always enjoys all the lovely activities that they do with him. Promiseland
I love the fact that my child comes out of King’s Kids enthusiastic and wanting to share all that he has learnt. King's Kids
