King’s is excited to have launched a one-to-one coaching programme where a coach meets with one child for one hour a week for one year. We are working in a local primary school in Catford partnering with the UK charity Transforming Lives for Good (TLG) and will soon be launching in another school in Lewisham.
TLG aim to bring hope and a future to struggling children. Every day there are children across the UK that are facing difficult circumstances in their lives such as bereavement or family breakdown, or who may struggle with a lack of confidence or have no role models. We want to play our part as a church to bring a hope and a future to some of these children and families locally.
