Love Your Neighbour

We are working in partnership with Holy Trinity Brompton (HTB) and have incorporated their Love Your Neighbour initiative into the social action work we do here at King’s Church London.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book.

What does that mean?

Love Your Neighbour is committed to supporting people in the community who are struggling due to the COVID-19 crisis. The work we do focuses on three key areas:

Food Provision

Providing non-perishable food hampers every week between September 2020- August 2021 to individuals and families referred to King’s Church, as well as through local schools and our ‘Frontline Partner’ organisations.

Debt Advice

We are working alongside local Christians Against Poverty (CAP) services to support people one-to-one and in groups to offer debt and financial management advice.

Employment Support

We are working alongside the Salvation Army Catford, CAP Employment Plus centres and other local organisations to support those who want help with getting back to work. This is both 1-1 support and group sessions.

How can you be involved?

We have many opportunities for you to get involved with the new Love Your Neighbour initiative.

Volunteer

We have lots of opportunities to volunteer regularly across different areas of Love Your Neighbour, whether that be in the day or evening, weekday or weekend. If you’re interested in offering your time please contact us for more information.

We are currently not able to accept in-person food donations for our food hampers. So if you would like to donate to the work of Love Your Neighbour, including the food provision work of Big Red Box and The Feast, you can do so here through our Vision 2030 Fund.

How to make a referral?

We have a short referral form which you can use for yourself or on behalf of somebody else. You can indicate whether you need support with food provision, debt advice, employment support or a mix of all three. We will aim to get back to you with seven days of your referral.
