Leadership Transition News
Last Sunday at King’s, I shared the important news that the elders of King’s Church London have invited Joe Macnamara to become Lead Pastor from September 2025. At the same time, I will be stepping back from the role of Senior Pastor to focus more on the Newfrontiers world. This marks the start of the transition process to the next generation of leadership at King’s, which the elders have been discussing and praying about for some time. I will continue as an elder and remain on staff in order to support Joe as he takes up this new role.
This is major news for King’s, and if you were not there on Sunday, I’d love you to take the time to watch the message I brought and also an interview recorded a few weeks ago, in which Deb and I, Joe and his wife Sylvia, talk some more about this next season in the life of King’s.
Finally, a reminder that tonight from 7.45pm to 9.30pm at the Lee site we will be hosting our annual Vision Night, when we will update you on the finances of King’s. There will also be opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about last Sunday’s announcement.
