From Armchairs to Blue Chairs!
Here is a video update from me about our hopes and plans to reopen in-person services over the coming months. We will begin with one service on our Catford, Downham and Lee sites from 14th March. We will then gradually offer more services as the months progress and as restrictions are eased, increasingly encouraging people to move from their armchairs, back to the King’s blue chairs! All being well, if the vaccination programme continues to be rolled out so successfully, virus levels remain low, and the government is able to follow through on their proposed plan to slowly lift restrictions, we will return to a normal church experience, including corporate singing, kids’ work, etc. by the summer.
This has been a challenging year for us all, but it finally feels as if there is light at the end of the tunnel. Let’s keep praying that this terrible virus will be pushed back, not just in this nation but throughout the world, and that life will soon return to normal.
