Carols, Christmas Day and New Year
Our first weekend of carol services got off to a flying start last Sunday at our Lee site. Once again, the creative team at King’s did an outstanding job communicating the wonder of the Christmas message, and I highly recommend coming along and bringing your friends and family.
This coming weekend will be even busier than last, with another seven opportunities to come along to a carol service. Here’s a quick reminder of times and venues:
Catford:
Saturday at 5.00pm
Sunday at 9.30am, 11.30am, 5.00pm and 7.30pm
Downham:
Sunday at 5.00pm
Beckenham:
Sunday at 6.00pm
On Sunday, we also have a family carol service at Lee at 10.30am and one normal morning service at Downham at 10.30am.
I understand that the Saturday 5.00pm service at Catford is likely to be quite full, so if you are planning on coming it would be best to choose a Sunday service where possible.
Other Christmas Dates
On Christmas Day there will be one morning service at 10.30am at Catford, Downham and Lee. This will be an hour-long family service and is always a great way to celebrate Christmas Day.
On Sunday 30th December, the last Sunday of 2018, there will be one service at all sites, including Beckenham.
Please check the website for more details of what’s happening at each site over the next couple of weeks.
Watchnight
Lastly, a quick reminder that our New Year’s Eve Watchnight services are being ticketed this year. Tickets are free, but you and every member of your party will need one to get in. We have two services happening, one at Catford and one at Lee, with 500 tickets available for each. There is still some space at Lee, but Catford has only a few tickets left, so I recommend booking in now! All details are on the website.
As you can see, there is a lot happening at King’s this Christmas and I look forward to seeing you soon.
