Newfrontiers, Highlights of the Church Year, and a Holiday
This week I have spent a few days away with friends and fellow leaders from within our Newfrontiers family. It has been great to pray together, hear news from the different apostolic worlds and discuss how we can partner together in planting churches across the UK.
This week also marks the end of another church year for me, as Deb, Sam and I go off on holiday at the weekend. Once again, it has been a year in which we have experienced the favour of God in remarkable ways: the Education Funding Agency’s leasing of the first floor of our Lee building has released hundreds of thousands of pounds into our mission together, and the news that Andrew Wilson will join our team from September this year is a very exciting development.
Don’t forget we have our annual King’s Church London picnic this Sunday! This is always a fantastic occasion, and is once again being held at Ladywell Arena, from 1pm. The weather forecast looks good and I am sure it will be another fun afternoon. If you haven't been to the annual picnic before, take a look at the video below for a taste of what's to come.
Over the next few weeks, while I am away, I will be taking a break from blogging, but I am delighted to say that we have a number of guest posts during that period. So, enjoy reading those, have a great summer and see you soon.
