Undivided
"There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus."
— Galatians 3:28
Introduction
In this series, we took Paul’s letter to the Galatians and applied it to the issue of race. Racial hierarchy is a modern monstrosity, and a total violation of the gospel. But it can be tempting for us either to avoid it altogether, or to respond to it in ways that do not reflect the spirit of Jesus. What we need instead is to bring it before the cross, seek the wisdom of Scripture together, and ask the Spirit to transform us. By God’s grace, we discover how best to put the uniting, freeing, boundary-destroying love of God on display.

Download the Workbook
The UNDIVIDED workbook contains nine weeks of daily devotionals (written by Andrew Wilson, our Teaching Pastor, and members of the King's team) working through the book of Galatians. There is also additional material related to the series, prayer points and space for notes.
Families and Youth
As well as teaching through the series on Sundays, we also wanted to address some of the topics and issues with the young people at the church through our Friday Night youth. Using Galatians 3:28 as our memory verse, we taught our children about how no matter what we look like and no matter where we are from, God made us all different and it’s those differences that God loves.
INVITED Series
In Spring 2017 we ran a preaching series on diversity called INVITED. We based it in Acts and as supplementary material used Crossing the Divide - A Call to Embrace Diversity by Owen Hylton, a former pastor at King’s Church London who now leads Beacon Church in Briton. The response from our congregation was very positive – many said they hadn’t heard churches addressing this important and very current topic before.
