Spirit Filled

"And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness."
— Acts 4:31

Introduction

The Christian life is impossible without the Holy Spirit. The power to follow Jesus does not come from us or our efforts; it comes from the person of God Himself, the one Jesus called “The Helper”. The Scriptures talk repeatedly about being baptised in, filled with, empowered by, sealed with and gifted by the Holy Spirit, in order that we might know the Father and imitate the Son. So, in this series, we will consider how that all works: what these experiences are, how to pursue them both corporately and individually, why walking in the Spirit is integral to a healthy Christian life, and what to do about it.
