It is our practice to take an offering at every Sunday meeting. However, many give directly from their bank account by regular Standing Order. Tithing (giving 10% of our income) is a commitment that many of us at King's have decided to undertake.
As mentioned above, we ask all those who call King's their 'home' to prayerfully consider the amount that they give regularly - and to review that sum as their situation may change. Responsible, joyful giving is one of the marks of a believer!
We recognise that your personal circumstances will affect how you are able to give. If you are in a difficult time financially, please don’t feel under any obligation – we believe you should only give out of what you have. Feel free to ask for prayer on a Sunday or in your group, or to talk to a leader if you are struggling financially or with debt.
Because of the current Coronavirus crisis, we are not currently meeting on Sundays and have moved all our services online. We encourage all of you who normally give at a Sunday service to consider making your gift using one of the alternative methods listed below.
There are four main ways to give at King's:
Giving in this way means that those who have responsibility for looking after the finances at King's have the benefit of knowing that an assured amount will be available each month.
