I cannot believe that it is almost exactly a year since I last went to an in-person service at King’s. (Although we were able to briefly open up services last autumn, I was unable to be there.) So you will understand that I am very excited at the prospect of attending my first in-person service in 52 weeks this Sunday! What is more, we have Shirley Toppin preaching, a much loved and respected member of King’s, who has served the church for many more years than I have! I am looking forward to celebrating Mother’s Day and hearing her speak. We will of course have all the usual Covid precautions in place (no singing, limited numbers, face masks, etc.) but it will be great to be in a room with some of the King’s family.

There will be just one service at our Catford, Lee and Downham sites this week, and if you wish to attend, please book a place in advance - all the details you need can be found here. We hope to increase the number of services over the coming weeks and months, subject to the Covid situation continuing to improve.
