'Don’t be alarmed,' he said. 'You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here.' Mark 16:6
The cross and the resurrection of Jesus Christ are at the heart of the gospel, providing the way for us to know forgiveness and have eternal life. This weekend, along with Christians around the world, King’s will be remembering the cost of our Saviour’s sacrifice and rejoicing in His victory over sin, death and the devil.
Jesus is our Shame Remover, our Victor, our Substitute and our Redeemer! Let us gather together this Easter weekend to give thanks for this wonderful salvation.
On Good Friday, please join us for a reflective service centred around the cross, when we will break bread together. Then on Easter Sunday, we will gather again to celebrate our victorious, risen Lord Jesus Christ!
All sites – 10.30am to 11.30am
Please note there will be no children’s work during these services.
Our Easter Sunday services take place at the normal Sunday service times, and there will be children’s work as usual.
Catford – 9.30am, 11.30am & 5.30pm
Downham – 9.30am & 11.30am
Lee – 10.30am
Easter changes everything! I look forward to seeing you there.
