15th December 2016
What a great start we had to our Christmas season at King’s last Sunday! Our series of carol services kicked off at Lee, and once again our team of performers, musicians and technicians excelled themselves – well done to everyone involved. I am always so proud to be able to stand up and say that everyone who takes part in these events comes to King’s – we really are privileged to have so much talent among us. Some great photos from the evening can be found here, and there's a short video of some of the carol service highlights here.
If you didn’t manage to come to one of the services last week, don’t worry! We have six more opportunities coming up this weekend:
SAT 17 DEC
SUN 18 DEC
9.30am & 11.30am Catford (with children’s work for 0-9s)
5pm Catford & Downham
I know many of us have been picking up tickets and taking the chance to invite friends and family along. Remember, tickets are free, and you do not need one to come along – we never turn anyone away! This really is one of the easiest invites of the year, and everyone is welcome.
In addition to this, we have a Family Christmas Service on the Lee site in the morning of Sunday 18th December at 10.30am. This is a fun services for the whole family and will be followed by drinks and mince pies. So once again, let me encourage you to invite your friends, family, neighbours and work colleagues and come along to one service, two or maybe even more! I will see you there.
