Kids at King's

We are passionate about communicating Jesus and helping children on their faith journey. We love to have fun, and  we look forward to welcoming you and your children as we share and learn more about God together.
KCL Kids

Sundays

Each Sunday we have times of worship, teaching, games, play and discussion. We usually follow the church's teaching programme and adapt it to be fun and age appropriate. To find out more about what we're doing this term, watch the short video below.

Family Resources

Have a look at our family resources. We have memory verse songs for kids to practise and sing along to at home, book and Bible recommendations and Family God Time resources to help children to share what they have learned on Sundays with their parents/ carers.

Age Groups

We have two age groups: 0-4s (pre-school) and school years Reception - Year 4 (King’s Kids). Both groups will cover the same theme each week in a way that is appropriate for their age. Our Sunday kids’ work is run by volunteers who are all DBS checked.

Registration

The safety of the children in our care is paramount. We therefore operate a safe electronic registration system. On arrival, you will need to sign in your child/children, and you will then be given a sticker with a code unique to your child to use at collection. Please ensure the children's team are aware if your child has any allergies or medical needs.

Additional Needs

If your child has an additional need, we will work with parents and carers to find the best way to help them access our curriculum. If you would like to discuss this further, please contact our Children's Work Pastor, Kerri-Jane, via email or phone 020 8690 4646.

Midweek

Parenting Groups

We have a number of parenting groups you can join this term, led by members of the church with a heart to serve and support our parents. Joining one of these groups is also a way of staying connected at King’s. All group details and topics covered can be found on our Groups Page.

Rainbow Rhymes

Rainbow Rhymes is our free, fun song time for pre-schoolers and their parents or carers. It takes place on Fridays from 10-11.15am at the Downham site and on Thursdays from 10-11.15am. There will be cake and refreshments, so why not come along, make friends and have fun!

Safeguarding

King's Church London regards the protection and safeguarding of children, young people and vulnerable adults as a priority. In the interests of the safety and well-being of all, King's has developed and operates a formal Safeguarding Policy, which is registered with the Churches' Child Protection Advisory Service. This includes DBS checks for all Kids' Work volunteers.

We are currently in the process of updating our Safeguarding Policy which will be available soon, but if you would like to know more right now, please contact safeguarding@kingschurchlondon.org.
