Transformed - Week Five

The aim of this compilation of daily verses and prayer points is to provide a link between the Sunday preaching series, group life and our personal walk with God. They will be available weekly each Sunday in the news sheet, on the blog and on the free King’s mobile app.

There are some suggestions for prayer for the week and each day there is a Bible verse for meditation and further study. As you read, you may want to keep a simple journal of God’s word to you. A helpful way of doing this may be to consider the following points each time:

• What did you hear?
• What do you think?
• What will you do?
• Now talk to God…

Visit kingschurchlondon.org/transformed for additional teaching by Rick Warren, recordings of the Sunday messages, the testimony videos, the family devotionals, and a link to buy the Transformed Workbook online.

WEEK 5
TRANSFORMED IN MY RELATIONAL HEALTH

This Week...Talk To God – POINTS FOR PRAYER
• Praise God for the transforming power of His Holy Spirit in your life.
• Pray that God will show you people who need a demonstration of His love this week.
• Pray that everyone coming to King’s will find acceptance, love and authentic relationships that point to Jesus.

Day 29 – Sunday 28th February
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”
John 15:5 (NIV)

Day 30 – Monday 29th February
“Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy”
Matthew 5:7 (NIV)

Day 31 – Tuesday 1st March
“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God”
Matthew 5:9 (NIV)

Day 32 – Wednesday 2nd March
But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.
Luke 6:35 (NIV)

Day 33 – Thursday 3rd March
Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.
1 Peter 4:8 (NIV)

Day 34 – Friday 4th March
He heals the broken-hearted and binds up their wounds.
Psalm 147:3 (NIV)

Day 35 – Saturday 5th March
Cast all your care upon him, for he cares for you.
1 Peter 5:7 (NKJV)

In order to celebrate Mother’s Day and Dedications, we have a one-week break from the TRANSFORMED series starting on Sunday 6th March. We suggest that for this coming week you take a break from the daily devotionals and the family devotionals, reflect on previous readings/weeks or do some catching up if you’ve missed any.

The devotionals will continue the following Sunday, 13th March, with Day 36 in the Transformed book and the Parable of the Rich Farmer in the family devotionals.
